The Manager of Liverpool Plains Shire Visitor Information Centre, Nikki Robertson, is encouraging people interested in Agritourism to attend one of the two workshops being held on Thursday 14 February at the Art Shack, “Wilgabah”, 107 Baldock’s Road, Wallabadah. The morning session will run from 9am to 11.30am, there will be a lunch for participants of either session between 11.30am and midday, with the second session running between 12.30pm and 3pm.
“These workshops are a great follow up for people who attended last years’ Agritourism Field Day. On the day you will find out how to start a new business, how to write a business plan, grants that may be available to help to build your business, support available for your new business and how to attract customers to it,” Nikki said.
“The workshops will be facilitated by Derek Tink, Business Mentor and Director Business Connect. Each Participant will be provided access to a number of online diagnostics tools that will greatly assist with business planning saving you significant amounts of time and providing you with a resource to assist actioning your ideas. Valued at over $200 per diagnostics, each participant will be able to select 3 diagnostics that they feel will be relevant for their business direction,” she continued.
“Please RSVP by emailing me at Nikki.firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 7 February indicating whether you wish to attend the morning session or the afternoon session and whether you wish to have lunch,” she said.
“LPSC recognises the potential economic benefits that Agritourism can provide for our region and these workshops can provide more valuable information and assistance to those folk who have already involved themselves in the process as well as others who couldn’t attend previous events. Hope to see you there,” Nikki concluded.
