Representatives from the Quirindi CWA, Lions Club, Liverpool Plains Business Chamber, the Kokoda Trail project and LPSC recently attended Sister City Blacktown City Council’s Mayoral Civic Reception to thank Blacktown individuals and organisations who contributed to their Mayoress 2018 Christmas Appeal which resulted in very generous donation being made to the people of the Shire.
LPSC Mayor, Councillor Andrew Hope said the support of the Blacktown community to our community has been nothing short of phenomenal. Blacktown City Council, the Mayoress Christmas Appeal, the Kids West Foundation, service and other organisations as well as individuals have provided a great deal of drought relief assistance to us as well as support in many other areas and this function provided the opportunity for us to show our gratitude and to say thank you to the whole Blacktown community.
Representatives from the Shire attended a Mayoral Civic Reception held at Blacktown Council to recognise Blacktown City’s individuals and community groups who generously supported the Blacktown Mayoress’ 2018 Christmas Appeal. This appeal provided presents for LPS children as well as hampers and books. These were distributed by the Liverpool Plains Business Chamber. Blacktown City Mayoress, Mrs Anne Bali, is pictured left with her husband Blacktown City Mayor, Stephen Bail, at the event.
