Water Restrictions

Council constantly monitors the supply levels across the Shire's water sources.; A Drought Management Plan has been adopted to prepare for and react to situations that may lead to water sources failing during dry periods. The Drought Management Plan spells out trigger points and monitoring frequencies for each supply area for Council's adopted water conservation measures (restrictions). This ensures that Council is always proactive when it comes to keeping our water supplies going through drought conditions.
